I have my e on order. I am still very confused. It seems that the first shipments of E320-E500 will not have the navigation option. I know they are putting the new dvd based navigation on the upcoming face-lifted S Class in October 2002. I do not understand why they would not release this new navigation first in the E now, for the August /Sept deliveries....
If anyone knows anything different, please advise!

The Deal
Here is the Deal....
The new Navi - The DVD based one will come with the new E, however it will not appear until late this year or early '03.
Same navi will then be fitted into the facelifted '03 S Class as well as CL and SL class automobiles.
