It's the UK magazine called Autocar and it's published weekly, so I think the chances of finding it are slim Jam, as this issue came out in...I think it was the first week of June. What irritates me is that they don't have a proper website either.
I'll be really sarcastic here Imagine E Avantgarde with AMG alloys, the ones with slimmer spokes, which come with AMG bodykit. Imagine front spoiler a la SL 55, divided into 3 parts and then quad exhaust with square tips.
Here, that was really eloquent :p

2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupe ;)
What I like best of the new E class is its overall commendable design. First class design integration of all design elements, particularly in the interor, is obvious.
The feature I like best is the Pano/Vario roof of the new E.
The feature I like least is the rear light cluster assembly, because several other car MFRS. ( Acura CL, Volvo, Taurus...) have almost the identical design.
Looks like the MB design team fell asleep when it came to the rear lights ... really, too bad!

I spotted that Chrysler Voyager's taillights look like E class units turned upside down :p I looked carefully hoping that they'd be identical, but they weren't, the shape is slightly different. Otherwise it would have shwon DaimlerChrysler sweet bond very well.
Rear part design is flawed on almost every other car. It's harder to make it distinctive looking than the front, due to the absence of many details (grill, foglapms, air intakes). It's not a very expressive area of any car.

BMW 330Ci
future M5 looks like it will be expensive too
the new M5 coming out in '05 with a 530HP V10 would most likely be close to $100,000 as well. But that's why they have the biturbo 3.5L I-6 good for 400 HP

SCwolf, MBZ and BMW are really holding the line on big price increases. The new SL500 bases for $74k and the BMW 745i bases for $68k. The previous models where close in price.
I speculate the W211 E55 will base price around $73k and I can not imagine BMW raising the M5 from $69K to $100k. It will base for $72k. It always is a little less than the E55. That twin-turbo 5-Series will probably not be an M car and may have a auto tranny - my guess aroung $58k. They have to compete with other cars like the new Jaguar S-Type R which bases for $62k.

Beltfed, I did make a mistake on the SL. I believe I posted the invoice price. But compare that 2003 SL price of $86,665 to the older R129 2002 SL price of $84,445.
Stephens, everyone is really guessing, including me, but 15% would be over $10 grand in the US and the competition will be a lot cheaper.
Remember, my estimate of base price will for the W211 E55 will be $73,995. Only more if the Nav and glass roof are standard.
