Discounts in canada on e320
Just wondering what kind of discounts are you canadians getting, some of the americans are getting 10,000us of list that's insane.

Quite frankly I would not believe everything you hear re pricing. I would not believe a 10000 discount unless there is some sort of other situation that they are not talking about ie damage, demo car, etc.I just recently purchased a new 05 and I shopped the whole area and country. I did receive a discount but no where near the number you mentioned. Remember that the dealer is in business and to survive and take care of you there must be a profit. These people do not make the investment in their business' or put in the hours for a loss.

MBUSA currently have the following incentives on 2004 E-Class:
E320 - $3,000 cash back to dealers.
E500 - $2,500 cash back to dealers plus an additional $2,000 if financed through Mercedes.
E320 CDI - No incentives.
You can assume you will pay Invoice minus the incentive minus any additional discounts you can get from the dealer (probably at least $1,000).
I don't know if this would get you $10,000 off MSRP. I doubt it unless you are in SoCal.

We bought our 05 in January 31 and it was the last day for the discount. Then they started a new one in Feb, and yet abother one in March. So I guess they will continue to give incentives until all the remaining inventory are sold. Then they'll probably start discounting the 06.
These heavy discounts are very real, special in southern california area. We weren't able to get $10K off sticker, but did get close at $7K off sticker without much negotiating. Our dealer did (probably still do) have brand new 04 E500 for $10K off sticker, I wouldn't be suprised if you get more than $10K off now MBUSA has tagged on their own incentives.
