Aluminum Pedals
I finally got the aluminum pedals in my car.
The part numbers are as follows:
1) A1703000004 - Gas Pedal (remember you only are going to use the rubber/aluminum part not the actual plastic pedal)
2) A1702900182
3) A2034300084
The Emergency Brake Pedal and Brake pedal are easily replaced as the current ones wrap around the metal pedal and just pull off and you slip the new ones on.
The one important thing with this is that the you will still use your current gas pedal, when you get the parts you will get a new gas pedal with a covering on it, you need to remove the new covering from the new pedal and remove the old rubber from the old pedal and put it over the OLD one as the old pedal is a little longer.
My brother at www.streetwyzecustoms.com replaced the gas in about 5 minutes for me.
I am trying to locate the DEAD FOOT PEDAL part number as the other part numbers for that part listed here were not correct (and yes I just asked for the dead foot pedal and the parts they got in were incorrect).

Do all of the pedals match? Or does the e-brake pedal have oval rubber dots while the brake and gas have round. I really want them to all be the same. I know the new C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan has the aluminum pedals, and I think they are all of the round variety.

PLEASE, as soon as you find out the deal pedal please let me know as soon as you can. I have a beige interior and I keep to remind me that take my left foot off that area. But sometime I just step on it and don't realized it for little while.
Thanks in advance,

I was charged the following:
$23.00 GAS, $20.40 Brake, $10.00 Emergency. What a deal..
The great thing is that is you have the appearance package / sports package, the pedals now match the shift knob and shift surround perfectly.
And yes, I need the dead pedal for the same reason, that is where my foot wants to go..

Are these genuine MB parts? The prices seems too good to be true. I was looking at something similar on Ebay but decided against them since they require drilling for installation.
Looks sweet!

No.. My service advisor can't find it through searching every possible keyword.
If anyone has this item, please check on the bag or on the item for the part number please.

I too am interested!
As a side note, when installing the pedals, the brake and parking brake pads were easy. The gas pedal pad is more complicated, and comes with the entire pad and pedal assembly. This require removing the existing pedal assembly from the car.
I found however, that if you just undue the upper pin, the old gas pedal pad, which is slipped over the pedal, can be removed without removing entire pedal from the assembly. The new pad can then be slipped over the existing pedal.

Before I lost the use of my '05, I was going to work on a dead pedal. I went down to China-Mart (Wal-Crap) and found a square aluminum pedal that I was going to mount with Velcro straps. Unfortunately, I don't think that one can drill anything in the area without the possibility of going through the body and then the associated rusting problems.
On the other hand......I heard of the new metal called stainless steel. They even make bolts out of it.![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
It looked something like this.

How does the Gas pedal Pin remove? I tried to push and / or turn but no results?
Thanks
