I'm taking my car in tomorrow for some warranty work to Fletcher (d-bag) Jones Jr tomorrow. I called to get a quote and Molly Secretary says "Oh sorry Mr. Sir but its not our policy to give quotes for that repair over the phone..." great. Lord knows it will cost me $1000 for brakes if I let them do it.

Your recommendations and prices are appreciated.

Try calling Caliber...they seem to be more flexible and their policy is to meet or beat any advertised price you can find. Let me know how you make out as I will need brakes soon also.

Brav,

Yo bro, if I'd'a known before I had the Stealership do my brakes last time that Tire Rack does the same thing for brakes that they do for tires, I'd'a been all over like the prom queen on a football player's jock.

I was trepidatious, but ended up being very pleased with Tire Rack and how it all worked out (including the price!!! less than half what the Stealership wanted, for the same exact wheels that came stock on my bucket when she was brand-spankin new!)

FWIW,

EDJ
