iPod integration
Does anybody have the iPod dock installed yet? My dealer just called me and said they have one in. I'm going to try and get it installed Monday.
What does this say about Toledo - I asked him about the waiting list. He laughed and said there wasn't one.

We'll see. I'm going in tomorrow (4/20). However, on the E55 board, someone posted today that their dealer had tried but the right wiring isn't available yet for the 211.

Well, several of you were ahead of the dealer on this one. I got in today for my iPod dock install only to find my service adviser with a befuddled look on his face. The unit he has came in with their shipment of the new ML's and will only work in an ML. They weren't sure when the E class kits would be available. He did like looking at my iPod. He hadn't seen one before.

Initially I thought so too. But after thinking about it, I'm not so sure my service advisor would necessarily be spending his hard earned dough on such a pricey toy. I love my iPod, but then again I'm driving the Benz, not repairing it. However, it would be nice if MB at least told these guys what to expect. Maybe throw in a few pictures.
