Where do you keep your keys?

I keep them in my drawer next to my bed, along with the essentials I take with me everyday like wallet, watch and phone. I plan to find a cabinet for those items if I run into one on sale like those used by MB dealers, it is like a safe but is a lot easier/faster to get to and it requires a key pad combination to open, using a computer. When I was at the dealer I saw how they keep their keys and it looked cool, and I thought to myself "hmm...won't it be cool if I had one of those at home?"

But for now I keep them in an unlocked wooden drawer.

I keep keys in a small vase. I have no place for phone and watches so forget to take them with me. I wish to have watches and phone integrated with keys.

keys

Being from the country and transferring to the city, in the ignition or in the case of the merc in the centre console. I'm terrible for misplacing keys so I pick the most obvious place. My neighborhoods pretty safe. I've had a few flat batteries once in the merc and 1 in the Landover but my 1971 muscle car gives no drama in the ignition.

In leather gearshift boot

Tucks into fold of leather shift boot.

Yeah, someone could easily try to steal the car from my garage, but in that case they run a high risk of coming down with lead poisoning as I would only be a few steps away.

The days of keeping the flat metal car key with the other flat metal car keys, the house keys and the office keys on one ring or in one folder are almost history. I keep the one key to my '73 Datsun that way, but W211's fat "key" gets to sleep alone in the drawer.

On a side note, it's not a good idea to leave car keys in visible or unsecured locations when you're away from the house. Many years ago we had a house burglary while we were on vacation and the bad guys took car keys we had in the drawer. The cars were still around when we got home, probably because they were in a garage with a combination lock on the door. I had the locks and ignition on the cars rekeyed, at some expense and bother. I now keep all spare keys in a part of the house that can be locked very securely.

Whoaa...maybe there was a mix up at the dealer with the keys, you ended with with my keys along with watch phone and wallet. I always wonder why my E55 says E500 on the trunk and the dealer kept telling me my 55 is a "special edition". :p

My keys are kept where my kids decide to keep them. This may vary from day to day. I use the key finding device, namely in the form of yelling "find my keys or else...", which works 75% of the time.

I hang the keys on a key rack in our foyer. Everything else goes on my dresser.

The Air King is a Rolex model that looks similar to the stainless model in that pic. However, it appears that the Air King has a different dial than the one in the pic, but some of the AK models have the same bezel. I found a pic of a similar looking Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, is that it?

I have the oyster perpetual without date (graduation gift from grandpa). At least I did before Dvinn found my drawer.

My watch is exactly the same in your picture, it is Oyster Perpetual date then. Is Air King what Rolex have as an offical model or is a limited edition kind of thing?
