I drove SC430 on some Lexus event. It's very comfortable car with a nice stereo. I had a bad experience with Lexus due poor reliability. Probably I am unlucky person. Personally I do not like Asian style, but SC is staying a bit appart. To my surprise the car a bit slow, I expected it will be more responsive than benz but it wasn't. Since I am going to buy an additional car, not replacment, then it can be Ok.

I leased an SC430 before I got my 55. My biggest complaints were the runflat tires and the transmission. The transmission is not sporty at all, very smooth though. The car feels like you are driving a Lexus sedan. 0-60...6.3 secs~1/4 mile 14.6 secs....WAY TOO SLOW FOR A V8 WITH 300HP!!!

Navigation pisses all over MB, Sound system pisses all over MB

The SC430 is basically the same size & weight as an SL500. Equal performance also. Interior nudge goes to Lexus, Exterior edge goes too MB.

I love the styling of both cars & miss my SC430 alot. If you like the styling I would go for it. It is basically a fully loaded SL500 for $65,000 instead of $100,000...without the STAR :p
