This car really looks great. I haven't seen this car with the finer interior. When I sat in it in a local store here in Europe, they only had the car with smaller engines and without leather interior.

I think this car will be very popular. The luxury just seems to be as good as it is in the S-class. Great car, that does not cost so much.

Is it just me or is the interior pic of that car show a manual shifter??? The last 3 pics are in the E-class brochure that was mailed to me from Jersey!

It is a manual shifter, so it's 2.something.

All U.S. bound models come with automatic transmission. The manual you see is probably only for the European market.

Well, it really happens automatically, no pun intended lol. You are getting E 320 and E 500 in NA, they are equipped with autos as standard in Europe as well. So they are autos in the USA too. You might be getting manuals if they decide to export other models.

I really don't know, but there may be a chance. What about C 240 standard transmission? That's not really an indicator though, I'm afraid. Time will tell.

the 240 and the 270 CDI have 6-speed-manual as standart. in general you can say that everything from 6-12cylinders have automatik included and there is no manual avalible. all 4 and 5 cylinders have 6-speed as standart.
at least here in germany.

It's also to save weight to get that 0-60 in under 6 seconds!
