I was wondering if there is a way to change the center column cluster from the grey/white to red, like when there is an open door. I think it looks really great but I have not found a menu. Is this possible ?

I am afraid that red is reserved for the parking brake warning only. On an E55 I thought the entire dashboard turns red when you pass 180 MPH.

The only car I know of that lets you change the instrument cluster lighting color is the new Mustang. That's not sufficient to convince me that I should trade in my E500 for a 'stang with a live rear axle.

I am not familiar with satellite radio but does it work via some sort of presets that you could change from the steering wheel controls?

Wait... let me guess ... when you order Sirius satellite radio with your W211, you can only select the next Sirius channel in sequence from the steering wheel, not your Sirius channel presets?
