We're #5 ...

... on the latest J.P. Power new-car quality survey. The top five brands:

1. Lexus
2. Jaguar (!)
3. BMW
4. Buick (!!)
5. (tie) Cadillac and Mercedes Benz

Mercedes moved up from 10th place in last year's survey, although the problem-rate improvement was modest, from 106 problems per 100 cars to 104 problems.

The highest-rated single model was the Lexus SC430, at 54 problems per 100.

This is very good news. Reliability has always been my number one issue with these cars and finally it is starting to be corrected! Bravo!

Lightbulb Good Rating

Is it possible that the new CEO is gaining some ground. While I might jinx myself, I have 2400 miles in a little less than three month and have zero issues. Where are the 104?
