Keyless Go works because the vehicle has a transponder in the car that recognizes the Smart Key in your pocket & allows the car to crank & start by pressing a button on the top of the shifter. There is NO "card" you carry.

Although, I am sure inside that key there is a small chip which as long as it had the power from the battery (in the key) you could make into something the size of a couple sugar cubes.
