Current Lease Prices?

Would those of you who leased their new e-class please post what payment they have, money down etc. and notify me of any recommended dealers in the CA Bay Area area.

I am looking to buy E-500 , 2005 with Premium and Appearance Pkgs
I also wanted an AMG package but it looks like nobody has it.

Also do any of you know about current lease specials?

I was thinking about 39 months 12 or 15K miles per year.

Fast response is really apreciated as I plan to go to a dealer tonight.

Thanks,

Andrei

For that setup I would expect to pay around $800 with no down payment except for the bare minimums (first month, title, whatever else). 12k mi./yr. on a 39-month lease.

Thats a good deal. My car is loaded, 67K sticker, 800 a month incl tax. But I came in with about 3400 ( to make total payment exactly 800.. ).

I may be considering selling my car or assume. Mine has more options, no decontenting, euro navi. Haven't thought too much about it. I want to get a SMART and a sports car.

I have been watching pricing for E-500 leases. Here is what I found:

1. Go to cardsdirect.com. Use zip 85043 (AZ) or you could use southern CA. You will see an incentive program that ends 5/31. They show a substantial amount off sticker.

2. Go to leasecompare.com. Chose the option that you have already found a car and just want a quote on a lease. I have spoken to them before and it doesn't matter if you buy a car from out of state.

At the least, you can use this information to beat down the dealer lease program.

Good luck,
Walter

Try RABMotors@imanagersales.com, it's dealership in San Rafael. They offered better price than carsdirect.

Good luck,
Vadim

2005 E500
There are three factors to consider when leasing:
1. Cap cost, which is basically purchase price. Negotiate that first. There is currently $4500 cash to dealer available on an E500 through 5/31, plus, in So Cal, you can expect at least an additional $1000 off INVOICE. So your total purchase price (lease or purchase) should be at least $5500 back of INVOICE (not sticker).
2. Residual value: This varies depending on length of lease and miles/year. A 39 month lease with 12k miles should be at 54%. This number has slipped a couple of percent in the last 4 months, due to the fact that 2006's are coming soon.
3. Money factor: This varies with credit rating. You should be able to verify the exact money factor currently available through MBC. Make sure the dealer is not marking it up.

After you get those three pieces of data, go to http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm to calculate the exact lease rate.

Never negotiate a lease based on monthly payment. Negotiate the three variables above, one at a time. Items 2 and 3 are set by MBC, but the dealer is free to change them to make money on the lease.

I have decided to order 2006 E500.
I really wanted an AMG package and there are no cars black on black in the whole country with AMG.

I am going to go to a dealer some time next week to place an order.

Couple of questions though:

1. Does anyone know prices for E500 2006
2. If I order the car through one dealership and then the car arrives, they know I want that car becuase I've orderd it and they will not negotiate on the car as much as if I walked in from the street.

What are my options here? Can I threaten them to go to another dealer and negotiate on the same car I've ordered?

Thanks

Thanks Vadim for recommending the dealer. Do you think I should order 2006 from them as well. I was thinking about going to SF Mercedes or Autobahn.
