Seats are too hot!
and no i dont want to tint my windows or trade my car in for another.
Any other ideas? I was really wondering if there are special seat covers that stay cool that I can use to just lay on top of my regular seats. Perhaps there is no such thing.

I hope this helps.
You must get top quality skins. If you do, they will be cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Cheap skins or fake skins will do just the opposite.
Unfortunately, the new E-Class can't have full sheepskins because of air bags in the side of the seats but I may still get a set even though only the center of the seat will be covered.
Since M-B sheepskins for the W211 are 1/2 the price of the ones on my 300E, it's an inexpensive thing to try.
BTW, in all those locations I've also had a high quality sheepskin mattress cover on our bed. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It's really true.

It seems to work well although it rarely breaks 90 out here. When in AZ, it makes a diff. Its still warm, but not swealtering. Keeps it at about what outside temps are instead of 20 deg higher.

dpath – You say you found them on eBay, who offered them (i.e.: private owner, dealer, etc.)? Did you find different colors readily available?
I take it that this will become a “hot” item given the fact that activated ventilated seats (AVS) have been discontinued for the E-Class.
Good luck!

You could add, maybe, seat covers that block the sun's rays in the summer from coming into contact with the leather.
Well, I just ordered the pair $250 for both, not bad.. I will report back if I don't like them.

This can run a small fan.
If you are pulling in outside air you can put a filter on the air inlet and keep the car smelling fresh. Your temperature will drop a few degrees.
The bigger or more efficient the solar panel, the bigger the fan you can run.
Ideally I would like to put a vapor deposition solar panel (very thin), between the sunroof and the moonroof.
