CDI Numbers....better with break-in
When I first got my CDI last Sept (10,000 miles ago) I was disappointed, expected better than the 22 city 26 Highway I was getting.
Now I'm getting 26-28 city and 38-42 highway.
On a recent trip to Tenessee, round trip 800 miles unrefuelled, I got 38.5 mpg on the outbound (daytime, hot, more A/C) and 42 mpg on the return (night, little A/C). Still had about 1/8 tank when we got back to VA. Speed 72 MPH cruise control in VA and 76 MPH in Tenessee.
