I am looking to trade in my 00 ML to an E class now and would like to know what type of deals that are available out there. (Southern California) Also, what should I look out for? 05 or 06? any known problems for o5? which dealer would be best? How much have you paid for your e? thanx for ur advise..

 

I would try the big boys in So Cal like Laguna Niguel, Flethcer Jones, House of Imports. They will be able to get you a deal unlike any other dealer. I say go and get a 2006 E350 or a 2005 E500. You can't go wrong with either one, but some say that the new E350 has a much "tighter" higher quality interior than an 05, or earlier model.

I can honestly say for a fact that my E350 feels nicer inside than my 2004 E55. The materials feel better (plastics do, the leather in the E55 in obviously higher quality since its Nappa). But go with an 06 if you can.
