Is there a way to buy that sticker that is on top of the radiator? Mine is starting to peel off from the edges due to the engine detailing the dealer made and I want to get one else where before I go pay a rip off price at the dealership.

my car is brand new, and it's pealing off.. I didn't expect it to so early. I too would be interested in one, but I called Mobil 1 and MB, and both didn't know where to get it... must be a supply of them in Germany someplace. Maybe a German member can help us.

I don't look under the hood very often. What's there to do under there? Pull out the nonexistent dipstick and check the oil? If I saw that piece of Mobil advertising was starting to peel, though, I would rip it off and throw it in the trash where it belongs. On second thought, I would rip it off and put it up for sale on EBay.

You're two steps ahead of me, I was thinking about calling MB in a few days about this. I guess if all sources are exhausted I can get it custom made. My company deals with a graphic studio which can get that sticker made. But we order our catalogues by the thousands, I suppose I can order 1,500 copies of it and save the rest of 1,499 for reserve.

I just got 2 from my dealer, although mine says "Mercedes Benz and AMG reccomends Mobil 1" Its places on that piece of cross member just infront of the radiator. Its on both my E55 (gone) and my current CLS55. However, I do not see it on my E500 wagon

I have a Brother P touch label maker. I put the type and quantity of oil on one sticker and the torque values I need on the other and put them in the engine compartment. Works great if you have a few cars and don't want to look stuff up each time you change the oil.
