1 year anniversary ~~~
Happy birthday to my car, happy birthday to my car.... ~~~ hahahahaha
Yah, you guessed it... it's the 1yr anniversary for my W211 500... *sheds tears* 8300mi and going strong.
I was wondering, will I be receiving any gifts from MB or my local dealer as I've heard ppl have received blankets, wallets, etc...
Is this a given or is it by luck?

Is it a birthday anniversary - one year since your car's build date - or a wedding anniversary - one year since you took delivery?
My blankie came out of New Jersey or someplace back east, not directly from my dealer, though the dealer may have paid for it. Dunno. Now that you mention it, it did seem to come about one year after we got the car, although I didn't make that connection at the time. Whether you get a tchotke, and what kind you get, seems to be luck of the draw.
The first anniversary gift is traditionally either a clock or something of paper. Your car doesn't need a clock so why not get it, say, a nice cardboard sunshade for the windshield?

1 week before that, I got a nice leather wallet/card holder from MBUSA.. that's now being used to store my insurance and registration. Not bad.
1 yr, and 8300 miles.. and you live in SoCal? not bad either.

As far as mileage goes, ... I have to say, the car is a semi-garage queen, as I also have another car to drive. I'm a bit extreme as far as where I drive the car to & I do drive about 25-30k mi/yr btwn work and lesiure.

Born Apri/2005 - delivered June 1/2005... I am guessing the cup is from my dealer. But the leather wallet is not, as I got one for my E350 that I bought my mom out in CA from a different dealer.
