When are we getting a CDI 4-Matic wagon?

The I-6 in the US Spec CDI is too long to mate to the 4-matic system. You'll have to wait for the V6 in '07 and the low sulfer fuel (if that even happens). My opinion is, if it's between the benefit of a 4-matic and the V6, or no 4-matic and the I-6.. I'll take the I-6 anytime. MB used to make the best I-6 in the world.. they've let BMW run with that now, alas.

We drive to Montreal a few times every winter. It would be nice to have AWD.
I know that in 2007 MB will bring over more diesels, I just hope that includes the wagon. There is no "official" word on it though, unlike the ML320 CDI, which is almost a given. I rather have the E over the ML even if they are a LOT more money.
