Hands free phone problems
My dealer installed hands free phone in my 2005 E320 CDI had very poor reception. I had to take it out of the cradle sometimes to make a call. The dealer, with help from a higher maintenace support level, found that the modules were not programmed correctly. I guess each country has different cell phone freqs and types. Once the system was programmed correctly and the modules started talking to each other, my phone reception is perfect. In the old days, problems were usually poor connections. Now, it looks like it was poor programming on the initial install.
