Fog Lamp Bulb Problems, need advice

Fog Lamp Bulb Problems, need advice
I have had to replace the bulbs on my fog lights at least 8 times in two years... let me explain..
On the 03 E500 (non sport/app pkg) the bulb has a lens on the tip of it (looks like a giant contact lens) these lenses seem to fall off the face of the bulb and just sit inside the light housing. The lights still work however the dispersion of the light is different, i guess these lenses focus or concentrate the light. HAS anyone had this happen and what can i do? should i consider aftermarket bulbs? I am just sick of scheduling a trip to the dealer every couple of months for this...

I thought there was a TSB on this? Hold on, let me check..
Here it is:
P-82_10-343A APR 04 Lighting - Fog Lamp Beam Screen Cap Loose
Is that what the dealer is fixing? If not, have them perform that TSB.
