88 days for me and 3901 trouble free miles. I too would like to hold this car for a 500,000 badge.. It would make a good car for my (now) 4 year old son to drive at 16.

Just rolled over 74K miles on my 2003 E500 and plan on going for around 250K miles. The car has been good to me but the arrogance/ignorance at the MB service department has me thinking the next car will be a Lexus.

OOPS! Just 3,700 miles on 2004 E500 (purchased August 2004). But my 1989 420SEL had 260,000 miles before I totalled it. My 1987 BMW had 360,000 miles on the odometer severals years ago before the odometer stopped working.

well, mine is at 14000 kilometres, which is only 8700 miles! still a baby after 2 years of ownership. and everything's fine =)
i hope to keep it for the next 15-20 years as well. my previous W124 lasted 10 years and is still running strong today in someone else's care - odo stopped at 250,000 kilometres.

I have a residential design/build firm
living +50 mi. plus for the office doesn’t help, then there is trips to the field, the county, clients, ect. But by no means am I complaining I love driving the car. Its just hard as hell to keep the thing clean on the outside.
