When I hear ppl talk about Made in Taiwan (M.I.T.), I take it that ppl have the feeling that the quality is not top-notch. For some products, that may be the case....but it's not always the case.
As far as auto aftermarket, there are alot of parts that are manuf. in Taiwan and repkged by American/European co.'s as their own (& made in USA or Germany, etc). That being said, I wouldn't put a taiwanese part in my German car myself unless I feel it's up to par in quality/fit/finish. From the picture, it seems like a good product at a glance, but I don't know how it compares to factory parts.
I guess I just needed to chime in a lil' as I'm personally interested in any comments made.
Seems as though there's at least 1 satisfied owner of these lights. I personally wouldn't change what I have in my '04 E500.
