So here it is..hope you don't mind my sharing it with you. It's not flash as some of my fellow forum contributors, but I like it The new V6 engine is so much quieter than the previous cdi.

It's an MB, how much more fancy can you get?

Looks great man, wish I could get a black car here in Phoenix! I like the 17' you got... look like my old 16' ... had mine been the 17's, I would have left those on.

Please keep those of us in North American up to speed on the new V6 diesel. Any Info on the differences with the I6 would be appreciated. For example, how much difference do the staged turbos make in eliminating turbo lag.

Congratulations!

I completely agree about the 17” rims. Very nice. The 16” rims look like they’re sporting balloon tires.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll update the forum with my experiences of the V6 CDI. By the way, I picked this beauty up late last Friday. Only realised this morning that It was in C mode on the transmission. Popped it into S mode and whooa! I thought she could move before.. but crikey

Has the turbo lag been eliminated? Is it faster than the previous CDI? Let us know what kind of fuel economy you get when you've had time to check it.

it's not, we looked up the MBUSA specs and they claim 0-60 in about 8 sec... we think it may be related to the Euro spec rear end, but not sure.

0-62 in 6.8 seconds for UK version. Fuel economy is for Imperial Gallons.
