Need to buy a bra ASAP
I'm driving to Miami this weekend and I need a bra for a 2004 e320. I went to my dealer and they said they do not sell them. Any stores where I can walk in and buy one?

The thing is the rocks will hit where there is no coverage. Have you thought about a 3M clear bra?
Try here. Maybe if you buy it today you can have it by Thursday/Friday.

OMG. I can't believe this guy did that to his car. I first thought this was a well executed joke, evidently not.

Here's a picture of the Colgan Bra. It's a very snug fit and great for the occasional road trip. Love bugs are the big road threat here; once squished, the residue can eat through automotive paint!
They also offer custom fit covers for the mirrors.

I had 2 Colgan bras for my W211 in 2003. The first one fluttered over the inner headlight from about 60 mph. I sent it back. Colgan supposidly was fixing the fluttering problem with some engineering change. They sent me a new bra after 6 weeks. That bra would flutter at 70 mph (our speed limit here is 70 and 75 on some Oklahoma roads). I had a couple of conversations with Colgan about how to fix the problem but they didn't want to add a stiffener over the affected area so I sent that one back and asked for a refund.

Well, I would never have a regular Bra again!
I have had the “custom made” Colgan bras for years. I had them on my old 1986 Audi 4000 for years and that is when I learned my lesson because of paint damage. I later had a clear bra installed on my 1991 300E and when I was driving through crap in Wyoming and Montana (the good old days when you could cruise kind of legally at 125 MPH!!!!!) I would still put a Colgan bra on top of the 3M clear braw. I never had a problem when I used both.
However, since then I find that the 3M clear braw is great and really does not require the extra protection after all. The clean picture of my car shows how hard it is to tell that the clear bra is even on. I also have the inside of the door handles (for those nail scratches), the A pillars, the side mirrors and the top of the rear bumper (due to loading and unloading bulky stuff issues) done.
The second picture is the only time that you can actually notice it. When the car gets really dirty the dirt beads differently on the clear bra. That picture was taken at my car wash after a storm when I was about to rinse the crap off the car as I always try to do.
So needless to say, I totally recommend the clear bra!
