12 orders, not bad for such a price.

I will just shut up all the haters who said it was just a prototype.

 

I cancelled my order for one one just a few minutes ago. My concern was my fuel economy at 217mph.

 

Brabus NA when I called told me it was a prototype.
I tried to get the W221 carbon fiber lip which you can see is on that car, and they told me that they weren't going to sell it because the car was a prototype.

 

I don't know when you called them for the carbon lip but when the car was presented, it was a prototype (the Brabus website was clear on this point). But they also mentioned that it would go into small hand made production. Many told that it would stay as a prototype but they finally took 12 orders.
Now I don't think you'll get the lip, it's E V12 exclusive like the hood of the C V8. Many called Brabus to get it and the answer was "No C V8, no special hood".

 

I called them about a month and a half ago. It was after the car had been presented in numerous magazines and what not.

I'm just sharing what I know.
The guy I talked to never said anything about the lip being exclusive. He just said they don't make it.
