******* HIT and RUN!!! 06 E350.
Well I just got my car last tuesday.... I take it out to lunch today with a couple guys from work. After we got back to work, we noticed that some idiot backed into the right rear of the car. It must have been a large truck b/c all the damage was above the taillight. It hit the rear quarter panel pretty good and the trunk lid has some damage!!! 
I already took it by a bodyshop and they should be getting me an estimate tomorrow. I'm so pissed.... the car has 220 miles on it. On top of that I just had to replace the bumper on the cobra I traded in... I got away easy on that one, only 300 bucks.

Contact the property owner and tell them you intend to file a claim . . . ask for their insurance carrier and policy no.
My wife's car was smashed by a fleeing felon in a stolen car in a parking lot with the same result. SO SORRY.

I had my car over two years when it got hit, it broke my heart. I can only imagine what you feel. TPAbnz is right approach the property owner. DO NOT overlook pursuing diminished value! Let me know if you need an appraiser. Best of luck.

That SUX!!! I got a door ding with paint removal on my 06 E350 when it only had 74 miles.
Being brilliant silver no touch up could match it properly, so $800.00 later it is fixed. They had to paint both doors to blend the paint.
Lost my new car smell to new paint smell.
Being brilliant silver no touch up could match it properly, so $800.00 later it is fixed. They had to paint both doors to blend the paint.
