Merc Nanopaint is much better than Japanese. My Honda Integra (RSX) have plenty more chips than my E200K with nanopaint. And the Teg is newer....

Having owned a 210 for two years without the nano paint technology and then the newer 211 for a similar period over EXACTLY the same conditions, on exactly the same roads and approximately the same mileage, I can safely say in all confidence the nano paint is far, far superior. My old 210 was peppered with numerous small chip markings whereas the 211 has just one solitary chip. same roads, same conditions and perhaps the roads are slightly busier.

Non scientific, but who cares, I am much happier and grateful for the new paint.

Regards
John

Not sure what the problem is here. I have an 06 E350 with 5000 miles, almost all highway, and do not have a single chip. This is the best car I have ever owned.
