Will E500 become E55?

It will be interesting to see what they do...
can't imagine it would be called an E55 but at the same time BMW now has the 550i so I would be hard pressed to believe MBZ would go with E550...probably going to stay with 500 but????

Probably will become the E550. For marketing, why wouldn't MB want to advertise the larger engine. The S's used to be the S430.
As mentioned already, the two digit designations are all for only the AMG's. The displacement of the AMG will likely increase anyway. I think some in the E55 forum were mentioning a E63 or something like that.
