Thanks for the tip...I had filled out the Eclass questionaire and asked to be invited to any events...but didn't get notified...So I signed up for Lyndurst in Tarrytown...if you haven't been there it's a great place for an event..

I'm going to Fed-X field on 8/24 in the morning.

I was at the Grand Prix all three days, all day. It was a fantastic event. Sound was incredible! Incredibly good!!
I was right behind the start/finish line in the Paddock Club seating -- comp food and drinks all day, and VIP parking. Only way to go.
Too bad MB doesn't put a DTM CLK in any of these races-- or run a prototype car. I also thought it was a little lame in that none of the car companies, except Caddy the race sponsor, had a pavillion or display of their wares -- a big missed opportunity -- even for Audi who spends so much on their cars -- but didn't think to bring a S8 or RS6 for the masses to drool over. A display of the Porsche line-up would have been nice as well. Too bad.

jamesp, I went on Saturday. The race event was well done for a parking lot circuit. However, the entire track could not be seen unless you are at the very top. It was just 'hot as hell'. I prefer the factory type Trans AM GT cars versus the Lemans open ****pit racers.
