I simply had to share this picture with you. It shows the boat, Centarus Leader, which has my tourist delivery car. The boat was passing through the Panama Canal yesterday. I had determined that my car was on the Centarus Victor and Bud sent me a photo of the boat. When I turned on my computer yesterday I wanted to see how the weather looked in Panama with Beta Hurricane in the area. I pulled up the Panama Canal web cam and saw a blue boat approaching the lock. I continued to watch and suddenly realized that it was actually my boat. The odds of being on that web cam at the right moment are incredibly slim.
Since it's my C350 on the boat I should probably be on the W203 forum but I find it very difficult to post there. At the same time, after living with the W211 Forum during my ownership of three W211's I feel more at home here
The other photo is one I took at the factory in Sindelfingen of my C350. That makes my 20th tourist delivery car.

Jim,
Truly a lucky and memorable shot! For future reference, how does one go about determining the ship their car is on and get a picture of the ship? Brian is trying his best to convince me to take ED next time.

I got the ship's name by calling Montvale Tourist Office. I believe the dealer's also may have or can get the information.
I didn't properly upload the picture of my car at the Sindelfingen Deliverey Center so I will try again. I do apologize that it's a C350 and not an E350 on this forum but I might go back again to the W211 in the future. My last eight MB's have been W210's and W211's.

Once you get the name of your ship, go to www.shipspotting.com and do a search to see if they have a picture of it.Originally Posted by konigstiger
