First Service and TSBs?

First Service and TSBs?
I was told that I should schedule a "check-in" for my vehicle between 1k and 3k miles. Right now I am about at 1,600mi and was considering making the appt. I thought someone posted a list of recalls\service updates that sould be asked for during this first visit. I have been searching for a while and found this thread concerning '05 TSBs. Was there another or is this the most up to date list for a 2005? The second question is more of a request for your opinions. Should I wait until I am closer to the 3k mark to allow for additioanl break-in instead of doing it sooner?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks! Unfortunately, my vehicle does not indicate any service is needed at this time. Not sure if this is accurate or not but I was told that the 1k - 3k "check-in" is to cover any TSBs that occured throughout the year prior to purchase which needed to be taken care of. The reason for putting miles on the car was to check to ensure proper break-in. Who knows. That's just what the dealer said at the time of purchase. Since I just received my friendly snail mail "check-in" reminder I thought I would schedule it soon. I was thinking I would just bring the thread I found with the noted service updates in and have them check off as appropriate. Is there anythign else, I should be calling out for this appt? Thanks.

At the dealer I use, when your car arrives at service and is entered into their computer system it ties in with the MB system and advises the SA what is applicable to that particular car. My dealer then automatically takes care of any open TSB's or such. Would not be surprised if most all dealers use this same system. I usually have this post delivery inspection done at somewhere between 100 and 1500 miles. Then when approaching 5000 miles I go back for the courtesy tire rotation.
