MY MB WAS LEMON'D
Error Message
Do you know if i will receive an error message if I remove the parking light bulbs? They serve no purpose and hate the 4 eyed light look...

Is there another way around it... I really dont want the parking lights on at any time.... is the message annoying?

it only comes up when you start the car, then you can move it off the screen.

I wonder if the dealer can deactivate them via stardiag?

I always call 2 or 3 dealers as you're going to have to assume some will out right lie and say what comes to mind.. rather than actually look it up.

You can go into settings with the Steering Wheels COntrols and change the option under lighting for Daytime Running Lights. I can do this on my 04 and 06.

Paint the bulbs black or something.

As an aside, I actually love the "four eyed" look. It lets me know it's a benz coming up from behind. Of course, unless it's a dang Lexus GS.
