Its One piece...Please contact Steve Re the LED tails ...Great Prices!
Better than the adjusted list price...Price will vary from dealer to dealer!
Dealing with the dealerships parts department is so FRUSTRATING!
The first question is do you have your Vin #...
Thats Why I Have a Epc...To look up the parts myself!

I wouldn't bother Steve for something this minor. Depending on where you're located there are parts department that does wholesale, like Caliber over in SoCal. You can give them a call and they'll ship it to you. Here are the PNs that you requested.

LED Tail Lights (A 211 820 05 64 / A 211 820 06 64)

So this LED tailight part number would work fine with the e350 as well right? No lights out or anything? Just pure plug and play?

Question LED Brake lamps std/optional on '07 E350?

Been out of the MB World for years and hope to buy my wife a new E350. Forgive the newbie. Have seen current E class bodystyle with LED brake lamps. Nothing noted in '07 brochure. Considering E350 w/ no-cost sport and P2 pkg. Loaded. Nothing on website, either. Thks.

Yep and why not upgrade to the new 2007 tail light, here are the part numbers for the 2007 211 E series tail lights: A 211 820 25 64 and A 211 820 26 64

N/C Sport Pkg gives you the LED stop lamp tail lights... But you're right. Its not spelled out anywhere.

Sorry to sound clueless, but:

Can someone link or attach pictures of the difference between LED and regular lights? Are they dramatically different looking?

Also, what is an Avantgarde package? Is this a european option?

Yes to both questions. Mercedes makes a long list of individual options. The importer/distributor of each country groups them together any way they want to make several variations of trim level, and names them what they want. Avantgarde is a term that is used in several countries in a fairly uniform manner to describe a package of grouped individual options into a basic configuration. MBUSA does not use this name/model designation style here, but more or less uses the 350/500/550 designations to define their pre set "standard" included option groupings from MB Germany's long list of single options.

The lenses on the 2 taillights are the same. The difference is on the stop light portion of the assembly. Essentially, when the driver of a standard lamp assembly steps on the brake, one or two bulbs light up in the brake light portion and the light is distributed thruought the lens by the interior ridges in the tail light plastic. With LED lights there are many small round LEDs that light up behind the red lens, and while the whole lens is lit up, the many LEDs are clearely visible separately.

LEDs light up immediately, and go off immediately as power is applied unlike conventional bulbs which almost imperceptably ramp up and ramp down as they light. To me, LEDs look redder and brighter. They burn cooler and rarely need replacement. They will probably outlast the car. For some reason they have become perceived as being more "upscale". Probably because they made their appearance on more expensive vehicles first and are now trickling down. After reading this, if you go to a showroom and look at both, you will see the difference without even having someone step on the brakes for you.

Of course the shapes of the entire tail light assembly are the same so they both fit the body, but you can buy the whole tail light assembly & install it on your car if you have one type & want the other.

Thanks Barry,

So, will my E550 P2, without Sport, come with LED? I've been unable to figure this out from MBUSA site.

Sport gives you the LEDs. I guess its how you can tell the car has a Sports Pkg from the rear. (The wheels from the side & the bumper/fog lamps from the front)

If you want to see the European "E" Class models you can go to this HK Mercedes Website in English and configure one.

http://www.mercedes-benz.com.hk/amw/...0-0-0-0-0.html

The website shows the total price (including taxes and transport from Germany) just remember the US Dollar equals about 7.75 HongKong Dollars

Easier way to tell from the rear is to look for the oval stainless steel dual exhaust tips.
