White Bulbs User Report (Philips Blue Vision vs PIAA Extreme White Plus)
I finally received my shipment of Philips Blue Vision from Power Bulbs today. I already have a full set of PIAA Extreme White Plus on hand so I went down stairs to the garage to do a little side-by-side comparison. I started with a pair of Stock vs Blue Vision and then did a Blue Vision vs PIAA comparison.
Here's the conclusion:
Light Output:
The Philips Blue Vision combo win hands down. They are much brighter than the PIAA Extreme White Plus in both H7 high beam and W5W Parking Lights.
Color Match:
This is where the PIAA bulbs shine. The color temperature is considerably whiter than the Blue Vision and I belive it is a very good match for the xenons. The Blue Vision (both H7 and W5W) have very yellowish, traditional halogen color to it.
Conclusion:
If you're going for the looks of matching headlights, the PIAA is your choice. The Extreme White Plus matches very nicely to your xenon and is pretty when the parking lights are on solo.
If you're one of those persons that believes function >>> form, then Philips Blue Vision is absolutely the way to go. They're brighter than stock as well as PIAAs, even though the color temperature is a little too yellowish to my taste.
I picked PIAA Extreme White over the Blue Vision and also installed a pair of the Stealth Auto 2357A blinker bulbs to get rid of the fried egg look in my head light housing. Next step of my lighting mods would be a set of smoked tail lights with Philips Silver Vision blinkers.
Hope this helps.

I live in a relatively well lit city so there's really no need for me to keep the Blue Vision. If I were still living in Wisconsin, I would probably pick the Blue Vision as I have to drive in some pitch black back roads occasionally.
