Can anyone tell me where the vehicle information sticker that tell the chassis, weight and year of manufacture is located in the car? If you cannot get what I mean, I posted a picture below.

My mom's did, but I hear the "new" ones with no Dynamic seats come with 16's and the same front brakes as the CDI..

How do you know the informaiton from the VIN number? Can we enter the VIB in the MB website and get the result?

according to the brocure, all 350's come with the 17's I have on my car. The thing is, the dealer did a swap 350-320cdi wheel swap on mine so I can get the 17's.

Someone from my dealer is gonna buy a 350 with the 16's

The 2006 CDI's are the only ones that come with 16's

Here are the facts - on E350's built before July 1 the standard wheels were 16" and the packages were different - MBUSA discontinued some options such as the ventilated seats and Drive Dynamic - the Premium package after 7/01 was lowered in price to $2995 with regular sunroof, NAV, Heated fron seats, rear shade and HK Radio - prior to that it included the Drive Dynamic seats. I should know since I purchased my E350 that my options separate - so my MSRP was $56,745 and the NAV, Sunroof, Heated seats and entertainment packages were more expensive - the new premium package is a bargain - but you lose the side window sun shades and some other minor electrical items - but my dealer did upgrade me to chromed 17" wheels at no charge.

I purchased on 8/30 - and the dealer had about 10 E350's with the 16" wheels and most had the higher priced separate options - in early September they started to recieve the E350's with the 17" wheels and the lower priced premium package - If I'd have waited I'd look for an E with the new sport package - now that's a bargain.

When you buy a Mercedes with the USA specs it will have a USA DOT conforming VIN. Every Mercedes in the USA has two VINs, one from Mercedes and one that is visible in the front windshield (required by the US DOT).

There are internet services like carfax.com that can cross reference the history of a car by this number. I seriously doubt that your car will have it. Also, non US Mercedes cars DON't have this sticker on the driver's door. Again, only USA models have it.

You don't post information as to where you are. This leads me to believe that you are out of the USA, so you will NOT find this sticker on a NON-US model, read my previous post.
