Black wagon = hearse?

Black wagon = hearse?
Still out there shopping W211s and stumbling across a few super deals on leftover 05's. The latest is a black 05 E500 4matic wagon with charcoal interior, sun roof, heated seats and CD. I like the idea of having the wagon, but black MB wagons remind me a little of hearses. Thoughts?
PS- it's the plain black (040) color

As for the hearse question, I do not think so, but I personally find black/grey or black/charcoal to be too dour. I have the stone interior.

Here's a photo from an MB factory converter. I think you're safe as far as not looking like a hearse but I like the wagon in lighter colors.

Seems that a lot of wagons in Europe are black. Or I just happened to notice them more. BMW, Audi and MB black wagons. Less white and beige as they tend to be work vehicles like taxis.
Add the chrome mirrors and maybe the headlight rings. Not tinting the windows will help too.

Mercedes all the way!
i think it looks really nice. the way the side flank crease is resolved near the tail lights is elegant. and black is a beautiful colour although i agree: it's HELL to clean.
