'08 AM Vantage V8 - '03 E500
What? No Audi A6? No Lexus GS? I'm shocked, shocked that Motor Trend would depart from its usual objective impartiality and conduct such an incomplete beauty contest. How can they scientifically settle once-and-for-all which sport-luxury V8 sedan is absolutely the best if all the players aren't in the game?

haha, what an unscientific poll! but then again, the number voting for the E is quite amazing. can't all be the work of one or two over-zealous members 
i guess A6 isn't really considered a "sporting" sedan (though why the E500, instead of the E55, is considered one beats me

The Phaeton is a cool car in a way... but VW was nuts thinking they could get 70+K for a car with a VW badge. One of their execs said as much about half a year ago and he got fired
I believe that there is a lot of parts sharing going on with the Bentley. It is a testament to the power of a label.
A friend of mine who makes $$$ in real estate (he lists ~ 200 homes a year o average) bought a GT. Nice ride. Not my cup of tea - but it's got a cool factor that is undeniable.
Even when he had a 911 TT I couldn't get him to come to the track with me or auto-x with me - street cred is his goal and I must say he has found a good car for that purpose.
