06'E55 Take Offs to 06' E350?

I have the opportunity to buy a set of 06' E55 AMG Twin Spoke Take Offs for a very reasonable price.

Will they fit my 06' E350?

I would think they should.....

Thanks,Al

Yes they will fit.

Let me know if you change your mind I'm looking, too.

Only problem, is that the tires will wear much faster than stock E tires, and are much more expensive to replace. And the ride will be harsh, and you are in greater jeopardy of pothole damage. But, if you drive hard, they just may spare some twisted metal, so get them if you need them.

I have 16's and may just settle for stock E500 17" twin-spoke as a compromise for better handling without having to be paranoid about potholes every inch of the way.

While this is true, coming from an E55 owner with stock 18" wheels, I have to say that the past 2 years of ownership I replaced the tires only once, and the rims have held up exceptionally even with all these pothole encounters. (Of course, the scenario may be different for each driver.)

Plus if you get them, the car should handle better and of course even look better.

I have those wheels on my E500.. Amazing at high speed and in corners. Have replaced the front tires and will be replacing the rear soon after about 10,000km/6000 miles. I have recently put winter Dunlops on my appearance package wheels. Usually the road is cleared here (no snow of any kind). The problem is that the Z rated tires do not grip below -2C degrees at all.

Forgot to mention that 18"s are really the perfect size for high performance to begin with. It's 19"+ when you start dealing with trouble when it comes to rims bending.

Also, PSI plays a big role, so get the right pressures in them rubber.

ATS...under 6,000 miles on the front tires?

Wow I would buy stock in my favorite tire company as a hedge instrument.

Bought them and they are on my 06 Flint Grey E350!!!

They look great and aggresive, but they fill out the fenderwell quite a bit. I do think they stick out a bit more than on the E55. The hubs on the E55 must be just a tad bit thinner?
