Volume Limit?

2003 E320
Volume Limit?
I have a 2003 E320. I took the car into the shop and got a C230 for the day. The C230 has no cap on how loud the volume can go, but my E320 does. Does anybody know if this volume cap can be removed and if it is a smart idea to exceed the volume limit set by M-Benz?

I am a big Who fan.. although dissapointed at what happened with Townshend in the past few years.. He is all over the place, he always attributed his hearing loss to an explosion on stage in Keith Moons drums.. Now it is headphones.. Geez, whatever..

I know the harmon kardon can get significantly louder than that of the standard 8 speaker.

2003 E320
the install for me is $300.. without the cost of the amp or speaker... the $300 includes a custom box, wires, base volume control and trasistors/computer fooler. Im a college student and my car is a lease so im having thim install it wouth drilling holes or affecting the car.. they are more or less wedging it into the back... maybe some velcro on the pull up trunk mat...
