V1 installation

Dear All,

Has anyone here installed the V1? I dont know how to install the power supply? How to get the DC from the wires????

You want to use the striped red and white one (it's a single wire with two colors). That's switched 12v. To get out the ashtray assembly, open the ashtray door. Pull up on the front edge of the trim piece that surrounds the gear shift to pop it out of place. Then pull up on the back edge of the ash tray assembly and out it pops.

I'll see if I can get a picture later today. I mean the piece that surrounds the gear shift on the center console. You know the one with "P-R-D" and the gear selector itself. It pops out as one piece if you pull up on the front edge.

i tried and couldnt find anything switched there...went with the cig lighter for switched power and used a point in that panel for my ground
