Service D Maintenance?
Can anyone tell me what maintenance is done and how much to expect to pay for Service D? I have close to 45k miles and was wondering if I should do any other maintenance. I have not had my brake pads changed yet either as I thought the car would tell me. I am beginning to hear some noise which I think are brake pads.
I apologized if this has been discussed before, but I searched and could not find info in any thread. Thanks!

I have a little over 24000 miles and my computer is already telling me to have the service D. I had my front brake pads changes at 22000 miles.

I had Service D performed on my ’03 e320 @ 27835 miles at no cost. However cost would depend on non-covered wear items needed to be replaced (i.e.: brake pads). My rear brake pads were replaced @ 19437 (total paid $192.88) and front pads were found to be OK.
Rear brake pad replacement:
Reference DTB P-B-42.10/48 JUL04 - for revised pads, part number A004 420 44 20.
Front brake pad replacement:
Reference DTB P-B-42.10/51d DEC05 “Front Brake Squealing/Grinding Noise” updates brake lining version; installs new pressure retaining springs, new piston damper, and brake pads.
Wiper replacement:
Reference DTB P-B-82.30/254 (up to VIN A218290) for free replacement.
