W211 newbie

Hey everyone...I just took over the family's W211 E320 blk/blk and need some input on some mods. The biggest investment I will make in terms of aesthetics will be wheels. I have a few in mind, but always open to suggestions. Also, can anyone tell me what kinda wheels are in the pics? Any input is appreciated.

Btw...what the best/brightest HID/Xenons I can get?

The rims in that pic are Dronell BRs. Absolutely beautiful if you ask me. It was brought up awhile back.

The brightest HIDs are the stock Philips or Osram 4300K

Damn homie, you single-handedly answered my questions about the wheels. The Dronells look identical to the Brabus wheels thats why I was having such a hard time finding them. Any ideas on how strong the Dronell wheels are (forged?) and if it is actually comparable to a set of Brabus wheels?

Btw...does anyone even carry these Brabus III wheels anymore?

Thanks bro for the help.

I can't really comment on the build quality of Dronell vs Brabus. Maybe someone else could chime in. I did find some specs for the BRs awhile back.....too bad they only come in 20"s.

That car looks great lowered. Anyone know how much something like that will cost and what is the very best suspension kit for the 03 E500 sport?
I probably would want to upgrade to 19in wheels tho.

Oh well, I will have to think of a new word for liquid laughter

Or the filling for the infamous 'Vomit Omelette' or 'Puke' pasty

(I apologize for the slang, please allow me to re phrase.)

I found the rims on that particular automobile to be quite interesting and appealing. I especially like the color of the rims and way they blend with the automobiles paint to create a sort of silver theme with just a tad of dark to keep us wondering.

My fascination with the rims is naturally a result of my love for fine European automobiles with modifications of substantial quality in combination with fine German autos such as the Mercedes.

I hope to someday purchase similar rims, perhaps after I educate myself; therefore allowing me to communicate with more members of this forum, allowing me to enjoy this “sick” thread.

“Closed” minds equal closed doors…

So it turns out the Dronells are discontinued (went out of business) according to D2. Now I have to make the difficult choice of choosing: 1) Iforged Technik 2) Carlsson 1/16 3) Radenergie R10 / R05 or lastly 4) Modulare wheels. I'm almost impartial to all these wheels because they all came in a distant 2nd to the Dronells. Just want to know if anyone has any of these on their cars. Tks again for all the input fellas.

Btw...I'm leaning towards 20's. BUt with KW V2 I'm worried about rubbing, any input is appreciated.
