Brabus wheels and KW coils

Hey guys...

The Wheel Supply offered a deal on a set of used Brabus Monoblock III 2 pcs wheels 20x9.5 all the way around with Nitto 555 (50% tread left) for around $3K. Wanted to get some input on if this is a good deal.

Also, they offered me a set of KW V2 coils for $1750 plus $225 for labor. I'm interested but the price for both the wheels and coils sound a lil harsh.

Any input is appreciated.

That's a great price on the wheels. 20" multipiece Brabus probably runs about $1500 apiece new, so you'd be getting them at half price and the tires for free.

In addition, that particular wheel is: a) beautiful b) rare and c) doesn't have copycat replicas everywhere you look (ahem, Mono V and VI). If I had found 19" multipiece Mono IIIs at that price before I got my wheels, I would've snapped them up in a heartbeat.

I can't comment on the springs because I don't know what typical prices are. That said, I've been a loyal TWS customer for years, I don't take my car anywhere else. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, but I have always found their prices to be excellent and their service second to none. They have gone the extra mile on multiple occasions to ensure that the job was done correctly (whether it be my wheel offset, ride height, exhaust fitment, interior bits, etc. etc.). They are top notch in every way.

Sorry to go off-topic, but how could you sell your Brabus 7.3? What an incredible machine that must've been!

And yes, I agree that the Mono III would be right at home on my car.

No worries about the off-topic comments. Thanks for the input Daez Nuts. Yes, I know brand new Brabus wheels cost an arm and a left nut, but keep in mind these wheels are used and I prob have to pay for new tires in the next 3 months or so. As you know, quality tires for 20's can get expensive. I don't doubt the quality of service TWS provides, I've got friends that have dealt with them on several occassions, so I have no probs having them work on my car.

What does anyone else think?

It depends on how much you like those wheels. If those are "it", and the wheels are in good condition, think of that 3K price as the price for just the rims. If the cost for a new set of tires plus the 3K is still a good deal, then go for it!
