Renntech Lowering!

I am deciding to go with Renntech lowering module but it only lowers 22mm is this okay if I want to go with 19" wheels. It cost $1,495.00 it is the only method the dealer is offering without eliminating my waranty!

Sorry for not answering your question but I have a follow on question. I have an E350 wagon with the Airmatic suspension. Do these lower modules also make the car stiffer and handle better? I have a BMW 3 series with Bilstein shocks and H&R springs. While I know the wagon won't handle the same, is it possible to get sort of close with the lower module? Or does this require additional mucking?

That is less then an inch for $1500.00, pretty steep.

The Lowering Module makes you car a bite stiffer and it gets better handling thats the point of it but some Modules like Renntech dont lower that much like Kleemann and Carlsson.

I would do the washer method myself and then get an alignment. If it isn't what you wanted, remove it and then get another alignment.

I am not familiar with that method. The only thing I know is that here in Puerto Rico there are no good places for Benz upgrades and the dealer sucks! If I was to lower my car another method it would have to be doing it myself. If steve would come down to PR I would rather deal with him. What do you guys recommend I do?

search for washer method posted by me. I put up some easy to follow pics of how to add washer to your stock setup. Chances are those your bolt will be too short so you might have buy new links. As for the back, I have yet to figure that out but haven't really tried to.
