Question 167 Standard Non-Sport Package

Hi All,

Thanks to everyone that gave me some input on 2006 vs. 2007 cdi. I have an appointment on Saturday to test drive a 2006 cdi. It lists the 167 non-sport package but I have no clue as to what that might be. It is no longer listed on the options for the 2006 model. The other options are still viewable, just not that one. If anyone can give me some insight as to what the package contains it will be most helpful. As it stands right now, it would seem that the dealer is asking more for the Certified Pre-Owned than it would cost to buy it new. I just want to make certain that 'm not missing something. Thanks in advance.

So how did the test drive go on Saturday? I don't know what the 167 non-sport package means. I don't believe they have ever offered a sport package on the CDI, at least not in the USA. What is the asking price and what options does it have? The dealers usually claim the car has a leather interior even though many of them are M-B Tex. Look at the door panels above the arm rests. The real leather interior has a gathered, pillowy look, and the M-B Tex interior has a hard, smooth look. Good luck with your search for the right one. Have you looked on Auto Trader? Private party sale should save you some money.
