Discounts on 2006 E350 and E500

Has anyone seen discounts on the 2006 E350s and E500s in the last few months. Particularly with the new body style 2007s coming in a few months, I would think that dealers are selling these cars below invoice. Is this true? If so, how much below invoice. Thanks!

There are pretty nice lease rates. I do not know if they are giving other incentives.

Check ebay. There's an authoirized dealer who is listing cars below invoice, although currently no E350's or E500's are listed. Might be worh a call. I have no experience with this dealer, just saw his postings.

What new Body Style? ..they changed a piece of trim here & there. There's no new body style, inside or out. ...and they've got some nerve calling it redesigned. Made more dependable, maybe... redesigned? Not.

Nobody's gonna "dump" any '06s at any lower a price than what is customary as the new model year's production becomes available. Compared to the '07's the '06-'04s are not garbage, you know. (Yes I know I left the '03s out... I'm kinda on the fence about those cars... and even early '04s. Sorry...)

Hmm! I wouldn't say people will dump the 06's, however why would someone buy or lease an 06 in July when they can get a redesigned 07..I think 06s that haven't been sold by July will begin to pile up at dealerships unless they are willing to be very promotional. I am helping a friend buy a new 06, and I think he will get a better deal in July than he will now. For example, I have seen dealers be very promotional on 2005 E55s in February 2006....Part of the reasoning I think is due to the approaching arrival of the E63...

Customary "end of model year discounting" will exist as usual. About the only reason anybody will buy any '06 at this time of year is because they can't wait for an '07... they need a car now.

I, myself would normally never buy a car at this time of year because If I wait a few weeks I'm saving a year's worth of depreciation. (Still gonna get hit with a "New car 1st year depreciation" anyway)

...But on the other hand I ordered an '06 Accord Coupe on March 15th for my Son who's going to Grad School the 1st week of August ... Its due in the 1st week of June... We can't wait for an '07. BTW... regular pricing* prevails on these Hondas... end of year or not.

* No I didnt pay list at all. Got my usual "very good deal" & came out pretty good, but cars in heavy demand are hard to "steal".

Talking

I just got an 06 E350 about a month ago...

MSRP: 55K
discount: 8K
Lease price: 47K plus tax.. good deal to me...

also, in 37 more months... I will be looking to get an 04 E55... should be able to get one fairly inexpensive due to the new models...

469/516 is enough for me...
