need help for new rims? Newbie thanks

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty tired of my rims and thought I'd move up in the world but finally realized that I can't just slap any ole rims on like I did the last time. I've been looking at hre's but wondered just how accurate the fitment pages are on their website.

here's the link
http://www.hrewheels.com/showroom/?m...20%26%20after#

I like the c20's. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Different model. Tire size? rim size? Offset? Do I really need to know these things? I did a search but there's too many posts that don't cover exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks again.

HRE are custom rims. Many 3-piece rims are custom. The shop you buy your rims from should know what specs to build.

the largest C20 is a 19". A standard 19" set up is:

19x8.5 or 19.9 with 245/35/19
19x10 with 275/30/19

hope this helps

Rim Specs

I was told to go with the following:

19x8.5 - 235/35/19

19x9.5 - 265/30/19

I hear that you could go with 19x10 but it depends on the rim/offset. etc... I hear that 20's will be a pain with having to roll the fenders, avoiding pot-holes (bent rims) and rubbing..............

Look at the 2 threads:
