Command keyboard setting problem
Hi.
I have some weird problem . the right keyboard ( that with numbers ) is setted wrong in my car or I suppose this is the problem,
cause , when I type
1 - it goes to some other function
2- it goes to navi menu
3 - it types 9
4 - it mutes the system
and so on ....
everyone know what is the problem ?
If I press 3 , three times, it goes to the keyboard and model menu , where i choose w211 for model and keyboard then I hit BACK,, and nothing hgappens.
If I am in the phone menu, I press 7 it goes to 7 channel for FM...
and so on and on...
I dont know how to fix that .

It appears you have been playing with your keyboard and model settings (and changed it to something other than w211_xxx)...
Try to access the keyboard and model screen again. Once there choose the W211_ECE options for both, then power off the COMAND, lock your car and move away (more than 1 meter) for about 10 minutes (go have a beer, or something).
When you come back, the settings should have kept, and everything should work normally.

thank you men. it worked after I have unpluged the power. anyway, your method is good also.

please help me with something else.
i go into engineering mode, but the menu # * left arrow, doesnt work for my car.
do you happen to know other combinations ?
