I recall as a small boy in the 1950s that chrome exhaust extensions were all the rage.

Along with continental kits and fender skirts.

Makes me laugh at how much interest these generate among modern-day Mercedes owners.

 

My car is the third picture from top! For me it is the second best look and then the E55 rear bumber is the best!

 

The twin AMG are tough looking...but I really like those single ovals too...kind of understated hi-perf looking.
